The KV-8 is actually not new. They released that a few years ago. Not sure about the KV-1E. Apparently they are re-releasing vehicles to go with the release of their new rule books by Osprey. |

Not quite – the KV-8 is a remastered vehicle so entirely new. The KV-1e is a completely new release – as is the recent KV-85. Cheers, Paul |

Paul, if I might ask what is the difference between remastered and rereleased? How is it different than the one I bought years ago? |

The KV-8 and KV-1E have been re-mastered… it was brought to our attention that our previous sculpts were a little small (a little too short in length was the main issue, I believe.) We took them off-sale a few months ago – and have had the mould-makers work their magic… so all of the new KV variants feature the newly re-mastered hull and tracks… I believe that we've also taken the opportunity to re-work the turrets and metals as well… certainly all of the metal moulds are new… |
