This thread confuses me as to what name to use for what I want. TMP link

I am looking for a set of simple rules to use 3mm figures which allow one person to command an army in an SF setting where one stand represents one Brigade or one Division. What would you call this level of game? Army, division, brigade, etc.?

Please recommend. I am willing to use a Modern or WWII set of rules and do a bit of adjustment if the rules are simple.

I think Command Decision, Dirtside II, or Future War Commander could be adapted to meet your needs.

I have a set of very simple (2 pages) set of WW2 Divisional rules in my website, you could adjust it

At that scale, might be better off looking at some board games and adapting their mechanics.

Memoir or other Commands & Colors?

I'd thought of C&C, but wouldn't you then need to come up with order cards and all that?

I wonder if FASA's BattleForce system would be easily adaptable. I haven't looked at it in 20+ years, but I might still have a copy somewhere.

Have Dirtside II and FWC. Neither do it for me.

There was a large scale version of Strike Legion but I don't know if it goes all the way up to that scale.

This may not be what you want BUT….

I have a fast and fun SciFi game that is armor focused, hex based (think OGRE). Individual units could easily be companies so a player could command a division.

Drop me a line and I'll send you a copy….
