Have you tried Krieg ohne Hass from Magister Militum? They cover the periods that you need for small scale miniatures, fast play, no record keeping, innovative mechanisms.

Was going to add that Fat Frank does some very good latex roads and waterways for a decent price.
He is worth checking out, try Ebay for now as they have web problems at the moment.

No the map is by Hotz Mats. Apparently very problematic getting them now. I bought the mat several years ago and it has a hex grid on the opposite side for Check Your 6. Mike |
