You get starter SSDs, models, cool box etc. Knowing the work these guys do I imagine the production quality will be first rate. From the looks of the pictures its the best fan made product Ive ever seen! Im waiting to see what shipping would cost to the US. It would make a great give-a-way at our EC Skunkworks events |

Interesting. The spitting-distance firefight on the box cover looks ridiculous, but other than that, Full Thrust takes surprisingly well to the "chrome" treatment. The NSL ships in particular look really good with that paintjob. If it will introduce more people to the joys of Full Thrust, GZG and the Tuffleyverse (especially in these days of Firestorm Armada domination) then I'm all for it. link link |

The cover is pretty much how our games tend to go. lol |

That's cool. And about time. |

Snickies! One of the fleet are Crusties; that was a bit unexpected, but welcome. Don't have any. Nor any new NSL, come to think of it. ;-\= I wonder if they'll option Jon's delivery wormhole… Doug |

That looks impressive. That is right up there with spartan games for visual appeal. |

The cover is pretty much how our games tend to go. That's how everyone's games go if you're playing it right. I don't see anything special about this box. I guess the tape measure is shiny… |

In all the space combat games I know of you end up at "spitting distance". Its the old problem of model size vs. ground scale. Several variants to space combat rules try to force the fleets to maintain some distance but it is hard. Anyway I agree completely that the product looks cool and that it would be nice to have a product which brings the Full Thrust rules back into the limelight. Don't understand the love for Firestorm Armada. |

Anyone know when it will be available for sale? Specifically in America. |
TheBeast | 14 Mar 2015 6:24 a.m. PST |
I'm fairly certain there won't be any distribution this side of the briny. Prolly only mail order. The real question becomes how soon 'in English'. Even with 2.5, XD, XD:C on free download, it'll be interesting to see what they lads and lasses come up with. Doug |

Mail order is mostly what I was hoping for. |

Ooh, shiny!!! Too bad it is not available to 99% of the world…. probably for the best, because then I would want all the requisite expansions and an actual FT3 rulebook. Well, I still want the FT3 rulebook, but that's NOT going to happen…….. |

Bill, stop your channeling of me this instant! Honestly, I suspect it will NEVER happen as well. Jon seems quite alright with the work of others. As long as none is declared 3.0, I can accept to agree to disagree with some of the changes in each of the competing versions. Doug |

Ordered this a few weeks ago from Jon, got it a few days ago. Not bad. Not having bought any GZG models I was little surprised by the size of them, I was expecting them to be a little bigger. Anyway, the rules are only a starter set, a little bigger than the Lite version offered by Mechworld. I expect to switch to a more comprehensive set after one or two games. |

I received mine from Jon last week. Not that I'm lacking any FT ships necessarily….but I had to have it. |

What are the miniatures made from? |
TheBeast | 21 May 2016 3:18 a.m. PST |
1) Pewter. 2) Someone was just commenting on a size comparison to Cold Navy, suggesting a ship class offset by one, and those are small compared, maybe another class off, to Spartan Games'. (I like it that way.) 2) Oh, me of little faith, there's actually movement towards FT3, and not just in others' hands. Doug |
