Well we played a game of Bolt Action Monday night at the LGS, only it was WW1! We decided to play the battle of Villers-Bretonneux, France 1918 which was the first tank vs tank battle.

Looks like fun but, A7V's carrying Infantry that must have been a tight fit? I had plans to play that battle but the cost of all those tanks has put me off. |

Great looking table and miniatures. I wouldn't have thought that the A7V could carry anymore than its huge crew as well. I'd like to see a BA WW1 game played from earlier in the war some time. I think the rules would work fine. Thanks for sharing; Joe |

The A7V had a crew of 17 but 12 of them were actually regular infantry that manned the MGs, if the tank was disabled these guys could bail out and fight as regular infantry (at least that's how we were playing) If you bailed them out of a tank that wasn't disabled then you couldn't fire the MGs. And we only let you muster a squad of 8 figures assuming the other 4 were injured or stayed with the other crew members |
