I have no use for any of them at the moment but somehow I want them all (especially that staff officer).

Texas Jack11 Mar 2015 1:15 p.m. PST

Buy them Chris, I want to play with them this summer! evil grin

the Staff Officer…here is the challenge. Who can paint that glass to look like glass and not a metal goblet? We see it in still life art…….that is real skill.

I wish………

Come on. One of you can do it. I intend to try. It can be done, shades of grey, a white dot and a gloss varnish! Real artists do it all the time. Like the folk who do gold on uniforms using browns, yellows and white…respect!

The bloke himself in the top hat is a total w..k.r an absolute t..ss.r. These phrases will mean nothing to our rebellious transatlantic cousins, of course (unless they know their Old Testament and know of the Sin of Onan) What a great casting he is….full of character!

I lived in Scotland for many years. I understand, deadhead

pbishop1211 Mar 2015 10:25 p.m. PST

18 years in the UK Deadhead. And my ex-wife labelled me with those phrases on numerous occasions. Well acquainted with them.

None of the above inspires me right now, but Westfalia has other goodies on my 'must have' list. First class products

Excellent figures as always. When can we start ordering?

KaweWeissiZadeh12 Mar 2015 3:59 a.m. PST

The officer and the Artillery blokes are ready. the first 2 light infantry sets are available but there's more coming such as a Sergant and rankers with headgear variations. Also – I hope to have the new site (with proper shop system) up by monday.

Harpo Marx was a British staff officer! Kept that quiet.

This is welcome news, Kawe. You have been busy. I am particularly interested in the Saxons, but everything coming looks great!

Indeed, good news Kawe. I look forward to seeing the new site. Maybe it will be all over by Christmas!

KaweWeissiZadeh13 Mar 2015 3:36 a.m. PST

Haha – it's up and running actually :--)

There's certainly a few bits that make trouble still but I am getting that sorted out over the next few days.

Supercilius Maximus13 Mar 2015 5:51 a.m. PST

The bloke himself in the top hat is a total w..k.r an absolute t..ss.r.

Really? Why? Couldn't he just as easily be a popular CO, unable to ride a horse temporarily after being wounded leading from the front (as always), and raising a glass to his much-loved men as they march past?

Be nice if wargamers at least could get away from the left-wing "upper class twits" stereotype, wouldn't you agree?

Personal logo deadhead Supporting Member of TMP13 Mar 2015 1:03 p.m. PST

Naw…I would not.

The hat, the hat alone

The facial expression (brilliantly captured)

Does he look wounded?

Sometimes stereotypes have a basis. This chap is a clown amongst what may well be a reasonable proportion of capable and professional staff officers.

I would love to see him posed with Westfalia's two lads with digits raised. I think the model is brilliant

Marvellous looking figs! Great work Kawe

So the Baden infantry is going to be 3 bodies with separate heads? Will the arms also be separate, or are those simply not done yet?

Lovely-looking stuff, as usual!

KaweWeissiZadeh15 Mar 2015 2:18 a.m. PST

Thank you gents.

Mserafin, what you see here are the dollies that I get casted at the moment.

The basic infantry set will consist of 6 rankers with 3 different bodies. The miniatures will be casted in one piece in the end of course.

The command set will include 2 ensigns, 2 drummers and 2 officers.

Iam already planing the battery of 4 pounders as well. Note that they have long pants to represent troops on campaign.

Note that it took some serious effort to get the very unique Baden infantry helmet right.

Fotherington Thrip15 Mar 2015 3:57 a.m. PST

I love the Saxon Light Infantry Officer. Great sculpt!

How fantastic to see some Badeners too. They look really nice.
