They look pretty good. I like that there is a half blown up one on the sprue. I guess, since you are getting one for every two models, that the crawling one will have some use in the game. link Neat-O! Yet another new Sci-Fi project I don't really have time for. And I just got all the Robotech stuff I'll ever need.

To be fair, the Terminators should be dead easy to paint, especially if you have an airbrush… :) Damon. |

I like that resistance member…. |

Seems odd to have those crawling ones in such quantity. |
Chalfant | 11 Mar 2015 8:56 a.m. PST |
Unless (pure speculation) there is a high chance of intermediate status of the terminators, like, frequently they will be reduced to a damaged (but still active) status that the half figure represents. Chalfant |

I like the resistance fighter myself. Not keen on the Terminators, but thats probably because I think they weren't great designs to begin with – I get the whole endoskeleton thing, but they've always looked a bit meh to me. For creepy robots I'd want the Voc Robots from the Doctor Who story Robots of Death |

All of us us here at Warlord are quite excited about the models and the development of Terminator Genisys! One important correction though, while we would definitely like to take the glory of the great models… we are simply the sole distributor for the game and models: it is RIVER HORSE the actual creator of the game and miniatures and should definitely receive all its credit. If you have not done it yet, please check out the game's Facebook page link: link Kind regards, Lorenzo |

So…I guess the Resistance fighters we saw in T2 are not happening? Really liked those "patchwork-yet-uniform" uniforms rather than the "Red Dawn" look. |
Griefbringer | 11 Mar 2015 11:35 a.m. PST |
With three parts per model, assembly should be pretty straightforward, though the posing options might be a bit limited. Then again, I guess terminator bots should not look too individual to begin with. |

I'm still waiting on details….until then I'll just say nice, but not any better than the EM4 ones. I'm more interested in the resistance fighters as I could use some as rebels/freedom fighters etc depending on their size. |

I'm with the Earl on this. Nice, but I'll wait and see. |

I have little interest in evil robots, but with head swaps (or just face swaps) they could make good "generic" droids. I could fairly easily sculpt an almost smooth droid face with no features save eyes / visual sensors, make a press mould of that, "press cast" faces in Procreate, and replace the original Terminator faces with these. I also think the resistance fighter is neat. |

I really want to like them, but they seem a bit meh to me. Not sure why. |

Drool. I've been itching 'bout terminators for a few weeks now. Anyone have an idea how these would scale with Cobblestone's and Em-4 terminators? |
Earl of the North | 12 Mar 2015 2:36 a.m. PST |
I've read elsewhere that its supposed to be 10 terminators, 16 resistance and 1 hero in the main box….not sure how accurate that is, but seems fine for a skirmish game. Which might be the problem with the terminators for me, if that is going to be the one pose/weapon for all the terminators then its pretty bland for a skirmish game. If it was for a mass combat game and there were a separate sprue with rifles/alternative poses then I'd be more impressed since I've just built a marine company from the sedition wars vanguard with a limited number of poses (five weapon/three poses). One pose for all the terminators seems a little weak for me. |
Mateus | 12 Mar 2015 5:03 a.m. PST |
Take a look at this on Warlord page, there will be some extra options for weapons: link The sprue shown will provide these poses:

Earl of the North | 12 Mar 2015 5:25 a.m. PST |
Yeah, thats an earlier article, no mention of if the different weapons got past the design sketch stage, all we have seen so far is the one sprue for the terminator game itself with really one pose (the second one appears to be the first one mirrored) and the half a terminator that is on each sprue. Its been mentioned elsewhere that there will be reinforcement boxes to add to the game so maybe that will include more poses and weapons for the terminators. |
Rhoderic III and counting | 12 Mar 2015 6:25 a.m. PST |
Maybe the game is being designed to play in (broadly speaking) the same asymmetric manner as a zombie game. Terminators as zombies with little to no variety but some interesting characteristics that set the tone of the game. Resistance fighters as survivors with a bigger toolkit of weapons and other equipment to employ for the purpose of fighting their way through the Terminators. That's just idle speculation, and fairly disinterested speculation at that. Zombies and the Terminator universe both fall well outside my sphere of interest. |
Earl of the North | 12 Mar 2015 8:13 a.m. PST |
It would be nice to get some actual details about the game. I'm a Terminator fan (films, TV) but I'm pretty much only vaguely interested in this, since the point of the terminators is that they are almost indestructable by most weapons so really one terminator is worth a lot of humans unless they are very well armed with heavy weaponry….difficult to turn that into a successful skirmish game where one side is vastly overpowered compared to the other. |
Ghostrunner | 12 Mar 2015 12:53 p.m. PST |
I got the impression from the opening of T2 that endoskeletons (T-600/800/850/etc) really weren't indestructible when being blasted by plasma rifles and military-grade weapons. Connor's contribution was getting the Resistance organized… fighting Terminators with shot-loaded shotguns and .357's would be suicide. Of course… in 2027, Skynet had big stuff as well. |
Earl of the North | 12 Mar 2015 1:36 p.m. PST |
I think I got the last movie (and TV series) stuck in my head, with the resistance using modern assault rifles against terminators…I don't remember ever seeing what a plasma rifle did to terminators on screen. I'd assume they would be much more deadly than modern assault rifles firing armour piercing ammo. Edit: Chased up some of the T2 future scenes… YouTube link YouTube link It does show a disabled terminator being shot at point blank range. |
Earl of the North | 12 Mar 2015 2:09 p.m. PST |
Crawling terminator (similar to the one on the sprue) from Salvation YouTube link M60 to the face at point blank range seems to do the trick. |

Please do not despair for the lack of variety at the moment! The models in the pictures available currently are only the first few… more to come soon with different weapon options and poses. Lorenzo Warlord Games |
Earl of the North | 08 Apr 2015 9:35 a.m. PST |
I assume this means more variety will be added outside of the starter box…..which is good. |
Earl of the North | 08 Apr 2015 9:40 a.m. PST |
I also assume that details of the game are being held back until the release of the movie, but generating any enthusiasm is difficult when any game info is so difficult to find. |
