Yesterday had several threads in which at several points the OPs made flat out assertions that they spoke for "most Wargamers". Let me assure them that they don't. Which ones? Well, several Poll Suggestions. A few ranting about how other people do not play the type of games they approve of. Find them yourself, I'm not doing all the heavy lifting! Read some of the longer ones and the arrogance pops out. |

I change my mind so often that I can barely speak for myself! |
Oh Bugger | 11 Mar 2015 6:05 a.m. PST |

Larry R | 11 Mar 2015 6:34 a.m. PST |
HAHA, just myself, wouldn't want to yawn for anyone else! |
20thmaine | 11 Mar 2015 6:38 a.m. PST |
I speak for all the wargamers that really matter to me… |
Mr Elmo | 11 Mar 2015 6:41 a.m. PST |
Speaking for most wargamers, I find the OP's pontificating tiresome. |
deephorse | 11 Mar 2015 6:46 a.m. PST |
And this is from the man who wanted to speak for all members and appoint himself as TMP's AWI guru. |
Randall | 11 Mar 2015 6:50 a.m. PST |
Dangit, JJ! I was going to speak for ALL war gamers, but you beat me to! Here's some and for everyone. And an extra for Winston Smith. Just don't share any with Julia--I don't trust her. She painted some piping the wrong color and people like that CANNOT be trusted. |

I speak for me, the wife, the dogs, chickens and a few friends in the village. However non of them ever visit this page so it is pretty irrelevant really, Tally Ho! |
Rrobbyrobot | 11 Mar 2015 7:07 a.m. PST |
I don't speak very often. But when I do, I speak for myself. Unless I speak for others. But they can speak for themselves, so why should I deny them the opportunity to do so? Because I'm part Irish? Not good enough by half… Stay thirsty, my friends… |
Doug em4miniatures | 11 Mar 2015 7:24 a.m. PST |
This is nowhere near as much fun as a TMP-Frothers dust-up but as there doesn't seem to be one of them today, this'll have to suffice. Doug |

XRaysVision | 11 Mar 2015 7:38 a.m. PST |
I think I speak for most wargamers when I say that it's much more important to worry about the improper use of 'your' when 'you're' is meant. |
Doctor X | 11 Mar 2015 7:41 a.m. PST |
Speaking is so 21st century. I use telepathy. |

Lee Brilleaux | 11 Mar 2015 9:44 a.m. PST |
I speak for 'most wargamers' when I say that I don't like it when someone pours hot coffee over my genital area. I am fairly sure this is true. |
SJDonovan | 11 Mar 2015 9:59 a.m. PST |

No one speaks for me. I've gamed since '68, my interests have gone up and down the spectrum of our hobby, the players I've gamed with run the gamut of human personality, the tech/social change has spiked and dipped dramatically several times. Every gamers debate has been heard before. The only consatnt is change in our hobby….and misspelling. Stop rolling dead dice and do what we do best…GAME! |
Weasel | 11 Mar 2015 10:49 a.m. PST |
There was an election in my living room. Myself and one cat voted for me. Sorry, if you don't vote, you don't get to complain about the results :) |

Mute Bystander | 11 Mar 2015 4:07 p.m. PST |
Well, unless we had an election that I missed everybody speaks only for their own self here. Even Bill. Of course he has the Editor hammer… Edit, John, you do realize that you only publicised for some jerk, (Well, some other jerk,) right? I suspect many people never saw these posts until you went all mental about it. |
Winston Smith | 11 Mar 2015 5:08 p.m. PST |

I have always suspected that "most wargamers" don't go to conventions, don't read wargames magazines, don't use forums and perhaps don't even know they are wargamers…? |
alien BLOODY HELL surfer | 12 Mar 2015 6:38 a.m. PST |
Please stop assuming we are all offended by those OP's stating 'most wargamers', I find it offensive. And lets be honest, there are lots of outspoken blowhards on here who believe they are the voice of the community/hobby SWMBO always speaks for me and knows what is best |
The Tin Dictator | 12 Mar 2015 8:47 a.m. PST |
I only speak for the wargamers who weigh over 200 pounds. THEY think that this conversation is fascinating. However, I don't agree. |

TamsinP | 12 Mar 2015 2:17 p.m. PST |
I don't "speak" for most wargamers. Instead I convey their opinions using interpretive dance |
