The Vietnamese developed the bird cage for the SA-2 to allow optical guidance, but I can't seem to detrmine when they started using it.

According to Wiki, SA-2F, developed in 1968, deployed in the USSR later that year and shipped to Vietnam, 1970.

Try asking the question on the Sam simulator site on "SIMHQ", they seem very knowlegable on these subjects
