All: See hawks-club.org for many pictures and impressions of the HAWKs room at Cold Wars. There are four posts about Cold Wars on the HAWKs blog, interspersed with other posts, so be sure to look at all of them. The HAWKs blog is built by re-blogging wargaming articles from members' individual blogs.
Despite the somewhat lower crowds (ostensibly driven by weather), the HAWKs room was crowded all weekend, and we only had one game that didn't get enough players to run. All five of the games I ran went well from both a GM and player perspective. In the large fantasy game a couple of players didn't see much action, but otherwise, I think everyone had a terrific time. Personally this is the most fun I've had a convention in quite some time. Buck Surdu |

Who makes the Highlanders in the Northwest Frontier game? |

I played in the Saga game as the middle Viking and had a great time including the ax in my back from my erstwhile Danish companion. I always enjoy the games that the HAWKS put on. |

The Highlanders are old Foundry. I don't know if they are available any more. |
