Dear Fellow CW Attendees, By chance I have misplaced, lost or otherwise lost track of the following, somewhere at Cold Wars. A clear-plastic "On Military Matters" bag that contained three books; all Jim Arnold [signed by him Saturday evening after his talk in the Hopewell Room] books. By chance did anyone find something and turn in to the hotel or HMGS convention? I will hold the titles, so as to be able to identify them to anyone who may have found them, especially if they were separated from the bag. If you saw/heard anything, appreciate a heads-up. Thanks in advance, rm caras |

I turned them into the front desk at the Host on saturday night. (I remember seeing the signature too – I was looking for a receipt that might have had a name) -Johnny

Thanks Johnny!! I really appreciate that. The books were already in my collection, thus no receipt. I put them in that bag to take to the seminar so they could be signed. I've talked to the hotel and they are sending them back. I really appreciate it. I'd buy you a "pop" or beer if you'll allow me at the next HMGS East convention we find ourselves at. if you like you can send me an email to: r.m.caras <at> gmail<dot> com. from your name, are you a figure painter for hire? best regards, rmcaras |
