Thanks for sticking with this AAR – it has been very enjoyable to watch and a good learning experience – enhanced by beautiful terrain and your own sense of fairness when playing.

I guess the Tiger crew will definately want a revenge for this big us victory! Splendid AAR. A few questions arose when looking at the AAR, I'm still learning the game and got confused in a few situations (although they wouldn't have changed the outcome) . Please don't take this badly and please correct me if I'm wrong. And once again my questions do not break down this wonderful AAR!!!
1* at a certain moment the bazooka and panzerfaust team start to fire. Both are not in half range, have moved and get an extra -1 as as shaped charge team. So in the AAR they need 6's. If I'm not mistaken, the longe range doesn't count because it' a shaped charge? So 5's would have been enough??
2* US first Squad left the building in turn 4 but they were on the second floor. Again if I'm not wrong, I thought they first had to move to the first floor and could only leave the building in the next turn. I think the rule book states that the unit has to be on the ground Floor to be able to leave the building?
3* I really got confused when schooting started at the german MG unit in the house. Protection for a unit in a house is a -2. I didn't understand where the 6 followed by a 6 came from? When the M8 shot, it hadn't moved, I thought it was within half range, so a 5 would have been enough to hit?? You need to roll a 6 after you hit a unit in a house if you want to damage him. PLEASE correct me if I'm wrong, I'm learning here….
4* I started to doubt the morale check rule, if I'm not wrong you only have to check morale instantly after you have lost half or more of the number of soldiers of a Squad? So if you start the game with a Squad of 10 persons and after a few turns the Squad is down to 6 guys, this Squad at that moment only has to make a morale check when it loses 3 or more of its men in an attack?? So when the unit loses 1 guy and the unit is down to 5 of the original 10, this shouldn't trigger a morale check??

Sorry for my newbie questions! I hope somebody can help me in my questions.

Let the tiger tank come…. 😛

Thanks guys for the kind comments!

@Burdie
Thanks mate, glad you enjoyed it :)
You could be right on all counts to be honest :)
I'm away on holidays in Ireland right now and don't have the Rule Book. I did think firing against a unit in a building needed a 6? And a small unit would mean -1?

If no one comes to the rescue here ;)I will check when I get back to my rulebook after my trip!

Sorry for my newbie questions! I hope somebody can help me in my questions.

Not at all ….I've been making blunders the whole way through but its great if someone pulls me on on them :)

Thanks again everyone

In BA you only take morale if half the unit is killed in one go. A unit that starts as 10 and is reduced to 6 does not check. If in the next turn it is reduced to 4 it still doesnt check. It's only if half of what it started the firing action as dies at once. Hope that helps.

Warpanda your games are a stunning display of impressively done games and high on artistic impact. Bonus marks for aesthetics. Penalty points for game length. Lol
