I've not painted any Spanish Civil War figures for six months, so it was a joy to add another dozen Empress and a single Force of Arms Guardia.

On the blogs I have added more images as well as my painting recipe.

Excellent work!

Makes me consider the SCW with CoC.

Is that Napoleon I see lurking in the back? grin

Wow. You did a fantastic job. I was wondering the same thing about Napoleon.

Very nice. Terrific blending of the colour green.

Thanks chaps.

The fellow at the back is the Force of Arms Guardia Officer in his 'matador hat' cape and glasses.

For those visiting Madrid the Guardia Civil Museum is excellent with virtually every uniform worn by the unit in its history displayed on mannequins. The only problems with the museum being the ban on photography and the lack of any postcards/books etc.

Very nicee work as always.

Maybe it's just the photo, but the FoA officer's face looks oddly porcine.
