"Making a topic forbidden on TMP." Topic

Frankly I am tired of these drive by train wrecks caused by the mention of Frothers and there site. In my opinion they need to stop COMPLETELY.

So here is my proposal…

first post about frothers gets you doghoused for a month and the thread removed.
Second post you gets your account banned.
These should go double/triple/quadruple for Bill (send me the Admin log in info and I will run this place while your locked up cooling off.)

How many here agree we do not need to hear this anymore.

That way, such topics just don't appear…

Because Bill and Legion4 have already upset the apple cart this week with there postings, so its the best time for us here in the community to stand up and say we do not want to hear about it period.

If someone has a problem with the Frothers then fine go log in there and post directly to them the issues.

Posting here about it is like posting complaints about your Ford on a Harley Davidson forum

As Bill is one of those who posted about Frothers what do you propose one do about that?

Yeah, if I'm not interested in a topic I don't go to it … It's not rocket science … It's common sense …

I don't understand why people want to ban things.

Sure the threads about Frothers are annoying, divisive and irrelevant, but as has been pointed out already, just ignore the threads you aren't interested in (as I do when a thread's about Frothers).

This would not be an issue if Bill would leave things alone. but no he has to get his knickers all in a twist over something that has zero effect on anything but causing people to leave this site and hurt his own income.

Bill is the #1 problem here as far as the fight goes. That is why the topic needs to be banned especially his postings.

Napthyme, TMP is doing just fine, thank you. Income is not a problem.

I could list a thousand things that classify as injustice and the Frothers would not be involved in any of them directly.

Bill, you should know by now that "those people over there" say these things because it get a rise out of you.

If you want to "fight injustice" do it on the site where it occurs. Don't bring you work home (here) with you.

And the only reason I look at threads like this is a morbid curiosity with train wreaks.

We all know what sewage looks like, so there is no reason to bring it into our house. I have no problem with the OP position or remedy.

Anyway they tend to do it there in their own cess pit and I'm happy the taint does not migrate far, we should point out the 'rude' behaviour of them thar vermints (as a safe guard so they know we know) but in the end pistols at dawn will only see urine stains on their britches.

Part of Bill's charm is that I have never known anyone to talk him into or out of anything. Bill does exactly what he wants to do.

If he wants to ban a topic or a person from TMP, he will.

If he wants to keep picking at a scab until it gets infected, he will.

And there's nothing any of us or all of us together can do to change his mind once he's made it up.

We have choices. We can love Bill as he is and TMP as he makes it. Or we can waste everyone's time arguing with him. Or we can go somewhere else and complain about what a stubborn blockhead Bill is.

The technology exists here on TMP to automatically do things to words.
There is the Bleep-o-Matic to bleep naughty words. I have a few ways to evade that , but let it pass for now.
Way back when it was funny , and before it wasn't anymore you could get an automatic automated 1 hour DH sentence for saying "I agree with the OFM."
I think that "stifle" was even bleeped.
When I was banned , my fifth sock puppet was blocked from seeing any text.

So, if Bill wanted to, mentioning "Frothers" could do some automatic automated … stuff.

I couldn't care less about Frothers. I went there once and was disgusted pretty quick. Not what I want to read when I'm looking for gaming stuff.

That said, I firmly vote 'no' on banning it. There's almost nothing that can be solved by banning things. I don't like bans, too Orwellian/communist/fascist. If you don't want to read it, just ignore it.

Also, in all seriousness and no offense intended; you'll do your cause a lot of good if you type 'there' and 'their' correctly where each is needed.

The same people seem to read and comment on these threads. Why? I suspect because really they quite enjoy the drama. I know I find them more entertaining than annoying. So much angst and posturing, reinventing history, glorious hissy-fits and rants.

I'd agree with the OP, but with Bill being one of the biggest suckers for it, there doesn't seem much point.

To be fair, if there wasn't internet-drama here, I'd have to go to Reddit and there's a heck of a lot less pedo's and rape apologists on TMP than on that site.
