Here are some of my finished 3 RD Continental Cavalry as they would have appeard at Cowpens. Together with Captain James Mccall's SC Mounted Militia, they rained hell down upon the British at Cowpens, destroying the British Legion and sending Bloody Ban hightailing it for his life.

Painting by the great John Bryant and basing by moi.

If you missed the Captain McCall thread go back and check it out. These are some of my favorite cavalry figures and McCall is an unsung hero of the War in the South.

I have loads more of the 3 RD, including a really well painted unit that I picked up at Historicon many moons ago. I'll get to them next. Then the British Legion.

I think that these are mainly the wonderful Eureka AWI Cavalry figures. These are excellent sculpts.

I really like the way you base your figures!

Please let us know how you do it, and where you obtain the materials you use.

Very nice.

I've written a couple of basing articles for the new Early American Wars E-Zine. You'll just have to wait for that.
