I received my Kickstarter this week and took the time to write a rather long Deluge Rulebook and content review on my blog. For those interested in what the new book offers just follow the link : link

Anatoli, is this a replacement of the old rulebook? Or do you still need the old rulebook? Thanks for the review. With Respect KTravlos |

You still need the old rulebook. The Deluge includes 20 pages of rewritten core rules, a reworked and expanded scenario section and heavily rewritten Polish-Lithuanian and Swedish army lists. However, anything not covered in the Deluge from the core rules is still valid (such as several Polish-Lithuanian regiments, 90% of the core rules and army lists for Muscovy, Crimean Khanate, ottoman empire, and Cossacks). You will be able to keep playing the core game without Deluge, but will miss out on the improvements made upon several areas of the rules as I described in the review, such as new rules for Elite cavalry, commanders, Pike & Shot etc. |
