What were they expecting to find that the robot needed megablasters? I still like the movie though.

Megablasters may not be out of line considering B9 original had lasers and could fire an "electro-force", similar to arcing electricity :)

The original could but at least that was part of the "hands" to begin with. This one has two additional appendages just for the weaponry…
