Of course, there's zero chance of that happening, until at least 2017.

Perhaps, an army of solar-powered, drone crabs that like to scoop away sand during the day might be deployed to key points in the region.

Stop outsourcing all Western production to China. That would seriously affect their industrial base and make it harder to produce the modern military hardware they need.

Won't happen – economics trumps both politics and military sense.
