Another new release (trying to whittle down the backlog of unreleased models)….

This one is for our popular Jasmine Throne Foreign Battalions range, Major Histar. The Jasmine Throne is a human freehold in Federal space, but has (in violation of Federal law) formed a force of aliens as a bodyguard for the Queen, a polyglot of aliens held together by iron discipline, unit elan and a fanatical devotion to the monarch, making them a truly elite formation. Major Histar has worked is way up from the ranks and now leads a JTFB company at the queen's pleasure.

Histar is now part of the JTFB range, available here:

Helmet is also cool, reminds me of an early Chinese one.

The hat was actually based on an ancient Persian cap, because the jasmine throne is a Neo-Sassanid state, but good job spotting the ancient influence.

By the way, work has just begun on two of the Queen's personal bodyguards from the JTFB, Zkunk and "good old Gho'tar." The queen is protected by the largest and most powerful alien species. You'll have to see these guys to believe them! Both are well known and loved by the various alien grunts of the JTFB. Good old Gho'tar carries a rotary cannon that weighs almost 2,000kg (two short tons). Zkunk is said to have killed and eaten over three hundred foes. They stand on either side of the queen, willing to give their lives to protect hers. Gho'tar is known to be especially skilled at ripping tank turrets off, so it's probably best not to get on his bad side.
