How well does V&B work for the AWI ? Can you scale it down to 1sp = 125 men ? Would I need any other changes ? TIA |

It works just fine. I fought Brandywine with it. I think I went with one strength point per 100 men. I used two stands to represent large regiments. Try Googling something like "Volley and Bayonet Wing scale" to get some ideas. |

Take a look at Greg Novak's blog. I played in most of these games using the Wing rules for V&B and they were a blast. |

Looking at historical OOB, how do you decide how many SP to a base ? It's 80 men per sp but, for example, if a unit has 480 men, how do you decide whether it's 3 x 2SP or 2 x 3SP ? |

Converting OB's is an art, not a science. Sometime you have to bite the bullet and make a decision. |

Ok, so what is the maximum SP you should allow a base to be ? |

Whatever you want. I believe I used 3 points per base. |

In the wing scale where 1 SP = 80 men a 2 rank stand is 2/3 SPs a 3 rank stand is 2/5 SPs |
