How well does Black Tree or Redoubt figures mix with Warlord figures. Specifically with their British and Zulu's?

Zulus of any brand are always going to combine more aesthetically than British, but I (re)doubt that these ranges' British will mix easily: Redoubt are big and an older, less sophisticated style of sculpt, and IIRC Black Tree have very prominent 'ridges' on their helmets, and the number of 'panels' may even differ. Then there's the question of differing interpretations of the Martini-Henry (no relation).

Well….the Warlord plastics are smaller (plastic rifles are not anywhere as clunky as cast metal ones). But saying that – in a big battle who will notice or really care. I have mostly Black Tree Zulu Wars but a few Redoubts thrown in. GO check lonelygamers blog for many Zulu war games with Empress, BTD, Warlord, Redoubt and Old GLory figures on display.
