"How Do You Solve a Problem Like Crowdfunding? I think Kickstarter and similar platforms are nice: they provide a way to gauge demand and get games made that might otherwise not be made. And yet, I hear rumblings about quality of games, about corporate "hijacking" of Kickstarter edging out truly independent developers, and so on. Some people sound as though they would just as readily kick Kickstarter to the curb as back a game on it. Many view it as a fixture in the industry: love it or hate it, it's here.
