Good news. And some very strange looking armor. And to think I sold off my Japanese… |

Should i give Battlefront access to my bank account now? Oh, the cruelty. |

Nearly ……but not until December '15 or January '16 according to the blurb. So a little wait yet – but great news anyway. |

Yes! I knew if I didn't lose faith they would put out a book & appropriate models before I got there. It appears they're still missing the Commonwealth forces for the Pacific, but hopefully they'll release those once these first 2 books come out. Would love to game Burma and New Guinea. I think the Cold War release looks interesting too. Glad I dove so deeply into WWII so as not to get distracted by that shiny object. |

Jeez, took them long enough! |

Now if they'll just make these books digital only, the circle will be complete :) |

@Kyoteblue: Well, they've already made the early Cold War stuff, so 1960s and 1970s CWGH is possible. Though you'd need European-theater infantry, I don't think it would be too much trouble. |

Many many years ago i went around to evan allens place. Had a look at the usa forces he was sculpting at the time for battlefront.. the disscussion turned to when and if battlefront would focus on the pacific… finally after all this time the wait is almost over. But there's still a wait tell we see forces for Burma…sigh |

axabrax | 06 Mar 2015 8:24 a.m. PST |
They only had to do every other front twice first didn't they? This could be enough to bring me back to that game. |
Jerbat123 | 06 Mar 2015 3:35 p.m. PST |
Yeah I'll second that! Team Yankee! Abrams M1A1 vs. T-72 Oh the joy! |

Now I have an excuse to buy and build that 1/144 Fletcher class destroyer for Naval Fire support You know, 1/1200 scale DDs 3 feet away are the same visual size as the real thing ~900 yards away. (Says the guy planning on 1/1200 DDs for his Normandy fire support) |

Definitely looking forward to the Pacific. I'll be intruiged to see if they do any CBI and "Chinese theatre" lists in the future. Chinese would bring a whole new interesting set of forces to the battle. The Fulda gap stuff has me as well. I cannot wait to see what models they make! If they do the other nations as well ala Sweden/ Yugoslav and East German etc etc… they'll have me hook, line and sinker. |

Yeah! I already have painted Japs! I can have troops on board the same day I get the new book! On another note: How do you suppose B.F. will treat the assaulting and rooting of Japs out of their bunkers? I just see buckets of m.g. dice being thrown at Marines, and then; here comes a flamethrower. I just don't see that being fun after awhile for anybody. |

Cant wait for this year from them I can feel my wallet emptying already. This will be a great year for them if they can keep it close to the timeline, but this has got me hooked again. So Excited. |
