For the purpose of this question assume "massed" to mean two or more positioned together – we are not talking Wagram here! :o) Apart from Vitoria, can anyone point out battles between Wellington and the French where either side massed artillery in terms of the above criteria? Thanks in advance! |

At Fuentes de Honoro Messena brought together 24 guns to bombard the British line. Wellington brought up 6 batteries (36 guns, presumably) to counter this, which overpowered them and did significant damage to the French massed infantry of Marchand and Mermet. This decided Messena against continuing the battle. [From Oman's account] |

The British put together three batteries which took a French column in flank at the end of Talavera as detailed in Adye's The Bombardier and Pocket Gunner, 1813 |
