We have just released two new items for our growing range of undead fantasy figures in 15mm scale -- the Liche-Emperor himself, and his terrible captains, the Wraiths.
A wicked lord of a long-forgotten idolatrous empire, the Liche-Emperor in life had immersed himself in the dark arts, obsessed with returning from the crypt at the head of an irresistible force of the dead. Many thousands of years later, once the planets were correctly aligned, certain sacrifices were made and worldly events took a predetermined turn, his ruined crypt was struck by a bolt of black lightning, his dessicated corpse reanimated with a power too great for any mortal to comprehend, and he set out without delay to collect the spirits and decaying bodies of the dead to cast his shadow over the entire world.
No mere incendiary eyeball perched stationary atop a tower, the Liche Emperor brings ruin directly to his foes on the field of battle, casting necromantic spells as he levitates across the earth. For those vainly resisting him, he can seem to be everywhere at once, but such a feat is not possible, even for a Liche. In commanding huge forces and attacking in many directions, he would need lieutenants ….
Amongst the first to answer the call of the Liche-Emperor were the Wraiths, the malicious spirits of powerful men who foresaw that, if they lingered on this plane of existence after death, they might in the future take a new shape to commit evil again, as has now come to pass. Most mortals simply freeze up and die at the mere touch of a wraith, but against more powerful foes they have been armed with swords through which they can channel the power of death itself. The Liche Emperor could not have designed more redoubtable captains.
