I need recessed round bases for some figures standing on hefty integral bases of irregular shapes. I'm sure someone makes them, or at least used to. 25mm or 30mm ones without bevelled lips would be ideal, preferably from a UK/European seller. |

Warlord do them, just recently released. |

link Hmm… I suppose they could do, but bases with somewhat higher lips / deeper recesses would suit me better. Thanks for the tip, though. I'll get them if I don't find anything else. |

Have you thought about grinding them down? That is what I do. Also Reaper is releasing some bases that are made to also turn over and place the miniature inside so they can be recessed. If you look on their KS page it has a picture and it says "flat on one side and raised edge on the other: which is meant to be used for minis with large integral bases. Also the 30mm lipped bases has that feature also: link |

I'm not a stranger to sanding down integral bases, but I was thinking it's high time I stop punishing myself and finally get hold of some of those recessed bases I've seen around. I don't "need" recessed bases, but they would be a convenient shortcut. |

I found one maker of recessed round bases of the sort I was looking for: tinminis.com/catalog/?cata=7000 Rather on the expensive side, though. I'd also prefer them without the directional markings. |
