Over on dakka, one of the members is ramping up to produce plastic cubes that you can modify to use as 6 tokens for this or that game. They show how you could use 1 cube to replace multiple tokens for X-Wing, for instance. Looks nice but haven't seen the price point. When Bolt Action introduced dice that did a similar thing (but weren't modular) our group initially just bought wooden cubes from craft store and used different color sharpies to neatly write on each side. modcube.com |

I don't know any more details than what's in the link. Just thought I'd share it since lots of us play games with tokens. Our wooden cubes from Hobby Lobby worked fine for Bolt Action activation dice but I eventually bought 2 sets of official activation dice in order to help keep the LGS's lights on. |
