Hi I'll be in the UK visiting family over the period 22-28 June this year. Are there any war gaming events over that period? I'll be in the West Midlands but travelling isn't an issue for an Aussie Cheers Scott |

Scott, I will be watching the replies you get, as we will be there from 21 June to probably 29th after visiting Gallipoli and Waterloo. Likewise hoping to find a show to attand and a club or two to visit. Staying in Fareham and Coleford. |

This may help. This was last year's, but I think it may give a guide and there are links to check current status of some events. link |

Phalanx this year is on the 20th June. It is a nice show (AoM/Phalanx) … If you are into that sort of thing, a week before, a short trip from the West Midlands, there will be a huge reenactment of the Battle of Naseby on the 370th anniversary … I am currently trying to put together the visitor package which will include some wargame activities … Phil |

EDIT … those exact dates didn't sink in on first glance … If your dates are flexible there are indeed some good things in the UK …. the week around Waterloo is particularly attractive Anyway, enjoy your trip over. I hope it all goes well and you find plenty of good things to do Phil (couldn't edit the original comment due to the temporary system interruption …) … |
