Bit low, hope they raise it up when they're playing or there's going to bre some stiff knees and sore backs!

From the source forum:

I already had a kitchentable, of which I sawed the legs in half. The table now is aproximately 50 cm high from the ground. I like playing on this height, it gives you a wonderful birdseye view of the battlefield. I also allowes you to sit in a comfortable chair while playing. I can store the table in the basement.

'Tis an interesting concept. A more standard height table would still require a lot of stretching out to the middle of such a magnificent beast.

I raised my table enough that the "bird's eye view" was diminished. It is only 30" deep so reaching back is no problem. I would say the height is the view you would get from a low-flying helicopter. If I add buildings and trees, even small ones, all forces on the table are not instantly spotted. I play solo and keep things flexible as to deployment of forces so it comes down to, Are there bad guys behind that hut? Those bushes? I either let the dice decide or send scouts to check it out. A low table will cripple you.

I get why he went for a low table, but I keep picturing someone barking their shin on it and tripping onto the table.

Low maybe is good idea.
I have to tried.

Maybe they're dwarfs.
