I'm a bit of a Dixon fan but once in a while I come across a bit of a gap in the range, so out comes the greenstuff, clippers and anything I think will make the conversion work. So Dixon rider and horse and a Perry plastic ACW arm and bugle

I hate wasting bits and after my WW2 Russian cavalry conversions I had a lot of parts remaing. So hopefully he will look as good once painted.

I love Dixons and conversions. This is the best of both. Very nice work!

Nice transition on the arm. It looks like it will be invisable to the eye once painted.

Thanks guys, I've got a few more ideas to go at. I really do like hacking figures up and create something totally unique, to be honest its a bit addictive!! and if they look right why not mix metal and plastic. I've invested in some liquid greenstuff it took me a while to pick some up but it really is worth having some lying around. I'm quite old fashioned and not the quickest to pick up new ideas but liquid greenstuff is liquid gold.

so thanks again guys for the feedback!
so cheers for now Russ
