If I type in the url of a jpeg image the server is not converting it to show the photo. Instead I only get a link to the image in my post. Has something changed? Have I missed a step? |

[Plucks a random jpeg from Google.]
Odd, seems to work fine. Does the URL you're using actually end in .jpg and are you remembering to leave spaces at both ends of the URL, not accidentally putting punctuation at either end? |

Thanks Dom. The space seems to be the issue. I copied and pasted the url and only got the link to show. I inserted a space before and after the paste action and I got the result above. Cheers. |

Except that now it doesn't. The random Google image works. The one I specifically want to show doesn't. Can it be something to do with the page I'm trying to link to? |

Maybe TMP doesn't recognise .JPEG – most use .JPG |

I suspect you're right Tony – it's probably the jpeg rather than jpg suffix that's the issue. |

I'm getting an intermittent link error. It's the internet it's broken. ;-) |

I find it often switches to the URL where the image is a PNG instead of a JPG. After you have posted, go back and edit it. Change the URL part at the beginning and end of the link to IMG and it works :-) |
