Just curious to see if anyone knows the type of Sa'ar boats used in the section of vessels assigned to attack the Syrian naval base at Mina Al-Baida, during the Second Battle of Latakia, in 1973?

I see the following listed for the other Israeli boats, and perhaps the way the report is written, they are hinting that the ones above were also Sa'ar 4 boats, but they don't explicitly state that:

2 x Sa'ar 4 boats vs. Port Banias
2 x ? vs. Mina Al-Baida
2 x Sa'ar 3 boats vs. Latakia
1 x Sa'ar 2 boat vs. Latakia, also

I'd also like more info on their opposition, since the report isn't very detailed on the Syrian side, but they do mention at least one Komar and one Osa present for them. They were hiding out amidst cargo vessels anchored offshore.

Any info you can provide on the vessel types, and marks of the Sa'ar boats would be appreciated.

It appears all the Osas for the Syrians are Mk II models.
