Superb weathering on that model.

"Weathering" is surely an understatement? – the weather seems to have blown two of the road wheels off, amongst other things. But I agree, superb.

Happy you enjoyed it boys!. (smile)

Certainly looks like it's been through the Apocalypse.

Twilight Samurai-- not apoc- just Berlin more likely but the hitwash woudl be out of place. I would think more like Kustrin.

That model is very first rate. If used in a game I would just quit the hobby and walk away. So not wanting to knwo it was ever used in a game.

I have a guy that does models close to this good. His Volsturm make me sick. Glad they do not last that long before they either drop the guns and run or they go fanatic and cling on the entire game.

wait a second. the IS-52 did not have a shell at all. Warhead and 2 powder charges. So those shells take it down a notch. Sorry just trying to nit pick as it is really incredible. This is nothing less than a work of art.

typos brought to you by my excitement and what not. IS-152 is what I meant. the other flubs are what they are.

I like the lantern. A very homey, practical touch.

This photo would appear to show that the modeller was correct in what he did. Some Googling would indicate that bagged charges for this gun were trialled but were not adopted.

still can't get the image to show as an image rather than a link.

The lantern puts me in mind of a Monkfish…

@siggian: evil grin

I think you just won the thread, if not most of the internet!

Dang, that thing looks like it was just pulled out of the mud along the banks of the River Bug where it lay sunken thirty feet down, forgotten for 75 years…and it started up on the first push of the starter after Coldmons ran a garden hose over it for an hour. Better get a tetanus shot after dropping into the driver's seat. Tap the dials with your finger and they come to life. Best armored vehicle I've seen ever on these pages. woh. Gotta get me one of those.

There's a video where some enthusiasts are doing exactly that….and it really started from the second attempt ;)

Although I wouldn't fancy its chances if they had to actually fire the gun:)

Lovely job on the tracks.

I'm wondering how a range target still has it's MG and radio antenna fitted half a century after the war
