I'm making a halfling army, based around the warhammer armies project book, and would like to know if the splintered light halflings would look too small compared to other 28mm figures?

Let me know
Thanks
Austin

I have some and absolutely yes. The figures are not actually 18mm, more like 12mm. They are scaled to look like halflings to other 15/18mm figures.

They are nice figures however.

Damon.

What figures should I use then?

Thanks

I know that Mirliton has the old Grenadier halflings that Mark Copplestone did and they are great 28mm halflings.

I want to try to do this cheaply… would some 1/72 peasants look right?

Thanks

1/72 won't match what most folks think of as halflings, hands and heads are too small for that.

All the 28mm halflings I'm finding are european, or expensive as hell.
I know some of them are mildly fairly priced, but those ones are in europe, where the shipping would cost a lot of money.

Thanks

Here's a little write up on my blog about halflings that I have and some comparison pics:

The hobbits listed on my site as Grenadier are Mirliton now. Noble Knight Games sells them here in the states or you can order direct from Mirliton SG:

The grenadier half lungs work out to about $1.00 USD each, so it isn't too bad of a price
