Rather than painting I have been organizing and figuring out what I am doing with stuff. I am going to send some of my stuff to a painter, I just can't get it all done. I think that will help with my painting funk. Here is this months tally; Painted – 0 Bought; 95 – 20mm SCW 2 – 20mm SCW Armored Cars 30 – 28mm Conquistadors YTD total -209

MonkeyHanger…you aren't the only one… February seemed to be my "acquire" month…. And on top of that, I found ANOTHER full bag of 28mm figs that I had forgotten about, (part of the Wargames LLC Dixon Sale from a couple of years back)… So I get to recount my 28mm inventory and yes…the lead pile # will increase… Plus the fact that I lost over half the month travelling on work related trips…again…. But for now…. Painted this month: 10 Bought this month: 15 Painted: 10 Pulp Figures – Brigade Games Mexican Federales Bought: 15 28mm Scenic Cast Graves 8 Foundry Pirates 5 Hawgleg Gutshot Western Figures 2 Reaper "Bones" figures…. Is it too late to join in on the pledge, for reducing my unpainted 20mm collection? If I include January with February, Purchased: 53 minis (Germans), 3 artillery pieces, 2 armored vehicles, 1 soft vehicle Painted: 108 minis (Germans), 2 artillery pieces, 1 armored vehicle, 1 soft vehicle On the workbench (aka the kitchen table): 12 minis (Germans), 1 artillery piece YTD: 55 miniatures -1 artillery pieces -1 vehicles In storage: about 75 WW2 Germans, about 100 WW2 others, 2 artillery pieces, 1 armored vehicle, 1 soft vehicle, about 120 non-WW2. That does not include other scales, but that is for a different goal period. I want to knock out the Germans by May 1. |

Purchased – far too many (all those January sales)! Painted – about a dozen 28mm this year. Well down on my normal count, just can't get into painting at the moment. It's not looking good at all… |

Strange month. I went to a convention, and didn't buy any figures. I visited local stores and didn't buy anything. I ordered figures in January that still haven't arrived. So, the 15 humans and two chickens I painted in February have nothing to set against them, and it is a positive month for me! Grelber |

Does gluing on the horns and then priming two dozen highland hairys count as production? Haven't bought anything this year but made the just listed progress. Right now, I'll take any forward progress I can make – at least on the miniature front. |

@Grelber 15 humans and two chickens So now I am confused about conversion rates. I figured a mounted figure counts as two because of the horse, but what is the official chicken conversion rate ? How many figures is an elephant equivalent to ?(my Carthaginian 10mm army is rolling out …) Hoping for enlightenment John |

jwebster, you just need a balance scale and weigh by the ounce or by the gram, accordingly. Feel lighter? |

you just need a balance scale and weigh by the ounce or by the gram, accordingly. But what about a duck ? What if the duck is heavier than a human ? John |
FusilierDan | 04 Mar 2015 6:21 a.m. PST |
@jwebster I coount everything as 1. An Infantry figure, rider and horse, 15mm, 28mm, 40mm, or elephant all count as one. One when purchased, one when painted. |
