$18 USD is for 1 figure and includes shipping to Canada or EU which is probably about half of that . also the lowest level pledge is never the best value in a Kickstarter . if you look at the next level "Rank x1" it's $45 USD for 4 figs including shipping to Canada or EU . and there are several pledge levels above that , all giving lower per model prices . |

And as the kickstarter goes on, like all the others, there are additional items that get put in there. Yes, the price per figure can be a bit high. But the figures are amazingly well sculpted and highly detailed and Tre is doing this on his own. This isn't a multi-million dollar company usurping retailer sales by offering super discounts to folks who are going to wait into the upwards of years to see their rewards. This is one guy who is offering a set of well designed figures which will be to your door quickly after the campaign ends. It might not be something you think looks neat or you desire owning. That's OK. I was just pointing it out for the folks who do enjoy well sculpted, realistically proportioned figures. |
