Oh for the love of Pete!!! Why 20mm??? ARRRGGGGGGGHHHHH!!!

I want these guys, I really, really want them! But not in 20mm. I'm just too invested in 15mm now to make the switch. If only these came out in 2003 when I went 15mm. Sigh…

This is an awesome line with gear that I would give my right arm for to have in 15mm (I'm a southpaw so no great loss..)

But unfortunately for me it's not in my scale.

'1937 to 1938'
'to fight the early war battles with the Japanese in the Philippines'?

Is there something the US and Japan aren't telling anyone?

Very nice. Too bad they are in 20mm. :(

I would buy some 28mm lads like these. My small arms instructor when I was a lad in 70s was a retired Army NCO that had been in the US Cavalry in the Philippines. An inspiring man to teach a young man the value of good aim.

Tgunner and panzerCDR, there is alway a chance to correct a mistake you made in the past

panzerCDR27 Feb 2015 7:56 a.m. PST

Brunet – LOL! Ah for the good old days of 1/72-1/76-20mm-etc. filled with hundreds of Airfix soldiers valiently attempting what no sane 15mm casting would ever envision.

ataulfo27 Feb 2015 9:39 a.m. PST

Glad they are 20's )

Tarleton27 Feb 2015 10:35 a.m. PST

Very nice indeed. Definite VBCW potential as foreign volunteers, for either side.

Tgunner27 Feb 2015 7:38 p.m. PST

No Brunet, I'm all in now. Too much $$ in forces and terrain and selling it all because of one "faction" just isn't worth it.

Maybe one day a 15mm company will do this. Eureka has the cav and soldiers, but lacks in the supporting weapons like the M1916 37mm gun and the M1919 LMG. The first is a nice curio but the other is a critical missing system. The M1917 was the core MG, but the M1919 was a vital weapon for the Scout regiments and the 31st Infantry as it was in the heavy weapon platoons in the line companies and troops. The M1917 was at the battalion level.

Oh well, I hope you 20 mike types enjoy your toys.

No Tarleton… War Plan Red screams for these!
