My first thought was that it looks like it should be cruising the streets of Vegas. |

To me, it looks like a bodge job of a design. |

It's posh inside:
Although… "Hunter has 6 + 2 seats with an mild steel armoring level capable to stop 9 mm bullets…" 9mm. Ok. |
javelin98 | 27 Feb 2015 10:16 a.m. PST |
All that and it only carries 8 people? And can't stop anything above 9mm? Wow. |
Kraken Skulls Consortium | 27 Feb 2015 10:30 a.m. PST |
Mild steel armor capable of stopping 9mm rounds does not seem very cutting edge. Or useful. I imagine the obvious expected client is going to be a diplomatic service, or corporate security service, but I expect they will look elsewhere when they realize how ineffective this thing seems. |

I'm with Rhoderic. It looks like something that would pull up to the red carpet. |

when then hits the fan i'd hate to be one of the guys in the middle row of seats trying to get out fast |

Looks like an extended and armored (using the term very loosely) Chevy Suburban. Cant stop anything above 9mm? Sounds useless for anyone considering an armored vehicle. |
Lion in the Stars | 27 Feb 2015 12:17 p.m. PST |
I dunno, armored against pistol fire is pretty useful in … rougher neighborhoods of allegedly civilized cities (London, New York, LA, etc). I'd want real armored steel for mine, though, and the middle row of seats really needs to be swiveling "captain's chairs". |

Good luck getting that round a mini roundabout in London…. |

I imagine the obvious expected client is going to be a diplomatic service I think that any Secret Service worth its dark sunglasses would laugh at something like this. When so many terrorists are armed with AK-47s loaded with 7.62x39mm FMJ or JHP rounds, something that will only stop 9mm is going to be worthless. Or even less than worthless, if it lulls the occupants into a false sense of security! I also know from first-hand experience that a car door (okay, it was actually a door from a semi truck, but still) can stop 9mm hollowpoints, so that tells me that this beast is just barely better armored than the station-wagon being driven by that soccer mom down the block. And I'm with Lion in the Stars -- those guys in the middle seats are screwed. |
