Here's a old falling down barn with a pigsty attached that I did for my good friend John Bryant. John wanted something that he could use in almost any AWI/ACW/Early American period and this is what I came up with.
Everything was done by hand here. The structures are bass and balsa wood. The roof was done the same way as the roof on the sawmill.
The faded red color was done by mixing a few drops of red ink into a small spray bottle of Isopropol Alcohol and spraying the entire structure a couple of times. he picture don't really show how well the red color blends in.

I have a question. Does a piece have to be completely scratch built to qualify here? I have some pieces that I modified or added to existing buildings. Those additions are scratchbuilt but the original structure is not.
