"In an excerpt from their new book on ISIS, Michael Weiss and Hassan Hassan show how jihadists used a U.S.-run Iraqi prison to coordinate with al Qaeda.

In ISIS: Inside the Army of Terror, American journalist Michael Weiss and Syrian analyst Hassan Hassan explain how these violent extremists evolved from a nearly defeated Iraqi insurgent group into a jihadi army of international volunteers who behead Western hostages in slickly produced videos and have conquered territory equal to the size of Great Britain. Beginning with the early days of Abu Musab al-Zarqawi, the founder of ISIS's first incarnation as "al Qaeda in Iraq," Weiss and Hassan explain who the key players are—from their elusive leader Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi to the former Saddam Baathists in their ranks—where they come from, how the movement has attracted both local and global support, and where their financing comes from.

Yes, we have heard this before … but look at all the other islamic terrorist acts that occurred before Gitmo, Abu Grabe, etc. … They didn't need anymore excuses or reasons to be the worthless scumbags they are. And commit terrorists acts killing mostly civilains in many cases. Yes, it has been said many times that pieces of Bleeped text like al-Baghdadi were in US custody, and released. I even saw the US MP Cdr on CNN intviewed say that al-Baghdadi said on his was out of the prison, "See you in New York" … Didn't Patton say, "The politicians always leave us with another war to fight." … We see the same with many released from Gitmo. They end up on the battlefield trying to kill the infidel … again … The only good thing about that, is if caught they won't see Gitmo again. They die/ie: killed … Taking out the garbage … again …

I can add L4, 'mene mene tekel upharsin'
Which nowadays could translate as 'I told you so don't trust our leadership'
Cheers and here's hoping the evil choke on their pita bread.

Love the "poor ISIS are the innocent victims. If human beings of other faiths and nationalities didn't exist, ISIS wouldn't have to kill, capture, torture, and enslave them."

Give me a break. I bet the video also inspired them to attack an embassy right?

If only they had decent jobs.

I hope the "jobs program" for them turns out better than ours has, or we'll be fighting them for the next 1,000+ years.
