It's in the reference section of my public library so I've only had one lunch hour with it so far.

I've been looking at it from a family history perspective rather than a wargamer's one. (Someone on my tree was married to three soldiers of the 57th Foot) To that extent, it probably hasn't given me any specific leads or data.

I don't think this will be a source book for scenario design or rule smiths. (Unless your rules are really deep on campaign logistics and you are think of modelling the impacts of the military train/hangers on).

That said, I'm enjoying reading it. It covers aspects of the war that you may not have read about before.
