I have some FoW plastic infantry that I'm looking to use for CoC (or potentially another skirmish game). I've based riflemen/command on 5/8" washers, I was looking for feedback on the following: the MG teams (1 gun, 2 crew) on 1" washers the Mortar team (1 mortar, 2 crew) on a 1" washer the Bazooka team (2 crew) on two 5/8" washers Anyone want to argue for or against this based on a play-ability perspective? |

CoC is pretty much basing agnostic – whatever looks good works. |

Many rule sets nowadays make allowances for different basing. CoC, Battlegroup xxx, to name just two are all pretty sabot or multibase friendly. Your basing sounds fine – particularly since these are support weapons. Crews for AT guns etc. could be put on one base. Dice/marker for casualties. |

I never base more then one 28mm or 15mm trooper on a base because when one dies, he stuck on the table and you then need a marker to show hes dead or out of play. the other thing I have done for bigger weapons is made a big base out of a mag sheet and washers on the crew so you can remove them in play as they die. This could also be done for smaller weapons. |

I do the same as Ron. One guy guy is glued on the base, the rest are magnetized. |

The base size won't matter too much but ideally you'll want a way to remove individual casualties. |

I do the same as Ron and Whitphoto, with an exception of HMG team in movement. See, You just cant move HMG by one, so if You HMG team was reduced to one person, it can only shoot (less efficiently), not move. Or this guy may flee. |
