I've been painting Prussians for 7 months now, over 600 figures. Honestly, I feel like I need a little encouragement to keep at it. So I thought I'd post a picture or two. These are the 6th Hussars, attached to Von Bulows IV Corps. They are on individual bases as they will be messengers for the Corps commanders. If that is the standard you have after six hundred figures – keep at it – just bloody awesome mate. |

They look fantastic to me. I would love to see photos of all 600, how many are you painting in total. John |

Fantastic work and that is a wonderful effort! Keep at it, there are few things in life as fine as well painted 28mm Napoleonics! :) |

Well done. Calpe are very nice figures and your painting and basing looks great. Winter is a good time to paint, so keep at it before the distractions of spring arrive…around July, it seems :-) |

John: I have another 250 to go. Added to the 600 I painted, plus 228 I painted the year previously, I should have around 1000 figures. The last 300 or so figures my lovely lady Rita has been doing all the bases. Thanks for all your comments Gents, it's great encouragement. |

Splendid! Particularly like the shako covers and the painting on the horses. Keep-up the good work. Cheers, Paul |

Like your figures a lot! Long, slow slog toward your goal. Admire your patience! I too would like to see the end result. |

Thanks TmbtE. I'm lucky in that I have a painting table set up in our spare room so I can just sit down and paint at any time. So if I have 15 minutes I just get something done. It really is a daily thing, keep at it until they are done. At least that's the theory. My painting has improved considerably since I started using 3.0 reading glasses. The first Prussians I painted were with naked eye. I look at those now compared the latest and wow, I was really crappy. |

They look great. Do you have a blog or any more pics of the other Prussians? I, myself, could use some motivation. |
