Are we ever going to see Seven Years War in plastic? How about Biblicals?

McNutt23 Feb 2015 10:42 a.m. PST

Forgot one big one – Great War?

Steve W23 Feb 2015 10:57 a.m. PST

Weren't Victrix working on WW1 plastics?

Mr Canuck23 Feb 2015 11:15 a.m. PST

Plastic Soldier Company have that Great War boardgame coming out soon-ish. I expect that might lead to Great War plastics.

MajorB23 Feb 2015 11:15 a.m. PST

There are plastic figures in the Command & Colors Great War (currently on Kickstarter):

Some nice 7YW already in plastics. With more coming by the sound of the grapevine.

And Biblicals.

Me, I'm just waiting for those Peninsular British heavy and light dragoons and marching French.

Battle Phlox23 Feb 2015 11:42 a.m. PST

Tsuba I think is working on some early war plastics for the Great War.

Emperorbaz23 Feb 2015 1:39 p.m. PST

Gripping beast 2 new sets for Salute? What are they….

Lt Col Pedant23 Feb 2015 3:13 p.m. PST

Hat were supposed to be bringing out SYW Prussians in 28mm.

Wargamer Dave23 Feb 2015 3:14 p.m. PST

Wow Emperorbaz 2 posts since 2007! You are my hero.

colin knight23 Feb 2015 5:47 p.m. PST

Assuming the question is referring to 28mm plastics??
Hat seem to have SYW.
Don't expect to see any Biblicals other than soft 20mm plastic.
Victrix doing Ancient Spanish and Numidians.

Longstrider24 Feb 2015 4:49 a.m. PST

Victrix and Agema are both putting out Carthaginians (Victrix in the next month or so, I think), and Gripping Beast is doing Arab horse for Salute (two boxes, heavy and light).

wminsing24 Feb 2015 6:44 a.m. PST

Whoa, New Arabs from Gripping Beast? Where was this announced?

Edit: Never mind, found it!

I believe the HAT product was 1/72. On the subject of 1/72's, Austrian Grenzers and SYW Cuirassiers would be the two sets I would like to see come out in plastic. Everything else I is pretty much covered with a little conversion.

Supercilius Maximus24 Feb 2015 9:36 a.m. PST

There are 1/72 SYW figures, but there's also Prussian SYW infantry listed as a "future item" up on their 28mm page (actually, it's been a "future item" for quite a while now, which doesn't bode well).

I have purchased some HaT 28mm SYW Prussian Infantry, last year.

Marc the plastics fan24 Feb 2015 1:44 p.m. PST

1/72. Sorry, is there another scale for plastic figures…

1ngram25 Feb 2015 4:14 a.m. PST

Where is the info on Gripping Beast doing plastic Arab Horse?

wminsing25 Feb 2015 10:43 a.m. PST

On their facebook page; not much info, just 'Plastic Arab cavalry, this spring'.
