I'm thinking of picking up some Old Glory French Infantry to do an EW army for Flames of War, but in true Old Glory fashion I can't find any pictures of their models to know what's in the packs.

Can anyone tell me if the Old Glory French Riflemen or Command packs include any of those Tromblon VB grenade launchers?

Leadgend22 Feb 2015 11:11 p.m. PST

No they don't. To make VB grenadiers I clipped the bayonet and drilled the rifle barrel of appropriately posed figures and inserted 0.4mm copper wire with the insulation pulled up a bit and glued to make the cup.
If I was doing them now I'd just buy the Forged in Battle figures.
Pics of Command Decision figures are at oldglory25s.com and skytrex.com
But are cheaper to buy at warweb.com

Thanks Leadgend!

I looked at the Forged in Battle figures and managed to find a US distributor, but the by the time I add in shipping bases they are no longer price competitive with Battlefront's models.

I did exactly what Leadgend did as well. All my French infantry are Old Glor (as well as anti tank, artillery, transports, most of the tanks….. you get the picture)

Ugliest thing was head swapping a french head onto a german motorcycle driver…. close enough for me though.
