I've managed to acquire a few of these, and am interested in seeing what else is available.

Is there a master listing, or catalog of the 1/1200th scale vessels that were produced, still available on-line, or anywhere else?

I've been to the Clydeside Flotilla Rules website, and there are only a very small selection of vessels listed there.

Google searches thus far have been unproductive.

I've read some comments mentioning them possibly still being in production, and/or coming back into production, but don't know if that is accurate.

Are there retailers in the USA, UK, or Germany that still stock them?

Also interested in Modern Missile Boats, Torpedo Boats, MGBs, and other targets for them, if anyone knows of some good sources for those as well.

Hi David,

Thanks for the tip, but that's the site I was on earlier, that has only a very limited selection of minis.

I guess I'll have to try writing them, to see if they have plans to bring back the other minis.

Best regards,

Rob

They are very hit and miss. They may still be available from Alnavco.com. I have one of their cruisers – very nice.

Be aware though that Alnavco is very difficult to deal with. Their online catalog is a farce – Lots shows available but when you order, you don't get any kind of confirmation, and then weeks to months later you get a tenth of your order with the rest labelled as "backordered". I gave up on them years ago. I once had a ship (one of about 10 in the order) show up 2 years after I ordered it. They don't answer their phone, do not respond to left messages, and take weeks to answer email.

Thanks VSB.

I'm interested in the smaller end of the scale, primarily, e.g. MGBs and MTBs, Destroyers, and other escort vessels.

I got lucky a few years ago, and picked up some nice British MTBs from them, so wanted to add to that collection a bit, for ones Figurehead doesn't do.

Sad to hear about the state of Alnavco.

You are looking for the older one piece and mid production multi piece kits. That list is With the Loch Ness Monster in my opinion. Been looking for that myself.

Well, I certainly hope Nessie is willing to share, Dave

Can't speak to how the kits come, though all the little MTBs I got were single piece, as one would expect for 1/1200th – 1/1250th scale.

;-)

If you can find any contact details for Dave Willcocks at Dreadnought Models in Gosport, UK he should be able to help

Thanks for the second tip, David.

Will try.
