I've had good experiences with the USA branch in the last couple years, but I have heard some rumblings about the UK folks recently being a bit less than responsive. |

The end of January this went out in their newsletter: "First I would like to say Thank You to all of you that made the New Year Sale a Spectacular success. It was much higher than expected. However, Secondly, I would like to apologize to those Customers who have had or are having delays with their orders. We are all working hard to catch up. Our Casters are back at full production after nearly 2 weeks struggling with the Flu bug. Please bear with us just a little longer." Might want to drop them an email just to make sure your order didn't get bitten by the "bug." The flu hit our company as well, bringing it to its knees. Luckily, I escaped but had to pick up the slack! BTW "round 2"of the bug is coming around. Same guys getting it again but not as strong. Crazy winter. :-\ |

I am talking about the Uk BTD. I have had one order fulfilled but my last one seems to have gone into a black hole from where there is no response to the 2 emails I have sent them. |

I had an order posted in the UK on Monday 16th Feb and it arrived in rural New Zealand on Friday 20th Feb. Took a few weeks to get the order filled but some casting was being done so a few delays. I had good communications throughout though and once the order was assembled it was almost beamed directly here. |

All my recent orders have been fulfilled very quickly. Admittedly they were small orders, but still got them in a timely manner. |

Very apologetic contact from Black Tree the other day, and an almost complete order – with a more to follow enclosure, delivered this morning.. lovely figures, well packaged, and just in time to give as a Christmas present (part of) to someone who is popping over to see us this weekend. |

Just received this by email: An Apology Dear Customer, Earlier this year we suffered a couple of major catastrophies that affected our service to our customers. I would like apologise for the long delays and problems some of you suffered over the last couple of months.
I was away from the office earlier this year and was unable to work for many weeks. As some of you already know, my Father became very ill at the end of last year as his Congestive Heart Failure stepped into high gear. After several trips to the Hospital, the Doctors changed his long list of medications and the improvement was noticeable and cause for much happiness. This happiness was short lived as he quickly fell into decline. In February he was rushed into the Emergency Room and admitted into ICU. The change in meds had caused major problems but I will spare you all the details. I nearly lost him, twice! To compound the problem, our casters were laid low by a serious bout of the flu. They were closed for 2 weeks and it took another couple of weeks to try and return to full production. This was devastating. I returned to work at the beginning of March and full effects of the disaster quickly became apparent. We are all working hard and nearly all of the problems have been sorted out.
