And we'd have a Forge World Normandy Campaign Book. |

…but couldn't afford to buy it. |

…..which would be ok because it would be obsolete in a year anyway. DM |

No, it is an illogical design that would not work outside of sci fi! Tally Ho! |
Citizen Kenau | 22 Feb 2015 4:04 a.m. PST |
Then the Germans would have had Gargants, only made by Forge World for $ 799,99 apiece. |
The Beast Rampant | 22 Feb 2015 8:52 a.m. PST |
Then the Germans would have had Warlords, because, come on, bigger is better. But a lot fewer of them, and they'd be mechanically finicky. |

What if Pamela Anderson was running along Omaha Beach just before the landing craft started disembarking? What if Ming the Merciless started a orbital barrage over Normandy. What if all the famous bank robbers and mobsters of the thirties were formed into a commando unit and dropped on the chateau where the German High Command wargamed the Invasion…wait, that's a good idea… |
Fatman | 23 Feb 2015 4:12 a.m. PST |
This post is just stupid. Everybody knows only the Germans get the kewl toys. Fatman |

"But a lot fewer of them, and they'd be mechanically finicky." They've have much more interesting colour schemes though. |

My guess is a B-52 at Waterloo would be more effective there, than a Revere Titan would be at Normandy. C |

And to think I've had people tell me with a straight face that trolling never occurs on TMP…. Martin |
Ivan DBA | 24 Feb 2015 8:49 p.m. PST |
I didn't mean to be a troll, I just wanted to gently poke fun of the OFM's D-Day "what if" threads. |
Jo Jo the Idiot Circus Boy | 25 Feb 2015 6:10 a.m. PST |
Trolling a troll is still trolling in my book. Other's opinion may vary of course… Martin |

What if thered been a troll under Pegasus bridge then? |
uglyfatbloke | 25 Feb 2015 8:15 a.m. PST |
It would have been out-manoeuvred by a highly-trained team of Billy-Goats Gruff..or more specifically….. 'Goats, Mark 1, Gruff/Billy (Airlanding) GS' |

Surely a B52 at Waterloo would have obliterated everybody!! How tall are Titans supposed to be the scale varies wildly in the pictures. Now seriously -would these things be able to wade ashore like Martian tripods. The Channel is around 150 feet deep between Dover and Calais -they could go across there and just stroll down to Normandy or they could even go straight for Berlin. The deepest part is around 600 feet so you have to be careful not to step in that bit. I wonder how firm the seabed is -If they thought they'd have trouble with the Maus etc sinking into the ground imagine one of these sods. I suspect that pretty soon on my table some of these things are going to be appearing on the Eastern Front… Oh and why stop at Reavers -there are bigger ones than that |
