"Ok maybe it's time to admit we have a bit of an addiction to pre-painted plastic D&D miniatures. We've been collecting these for years and have many boxes of these miniatures designed for use in D&D RPG sessions. With the recent release of the newest edition of Dungeons and Dragons rules, we're glad to see WizKids/NECA are now taking up the reigns in producing these minis, with their first set titled Icons of the Realms: Tyranny of Dragons. Join us as we open up some boosters and have a look through the set…"

I just wish that they were easier to find…a lot of places only have the starter set and not the boosters |

Pictures on the packet may give a misleading impression as to the quality of the actual paint job on the figures. |

I bought a couple when they dropped in August, out of habit. I'm wasn't crazy about the figure count downsizing. When I found that these were exactly the same minis used in D&D Attack Wing, I bought no more- why bother, when if I get AW (I have been on the fence on it), I will have wasted my time chasing blind-packed minis here. Though I suppose I might come out cheaper to buy aftermarket dupes to use secondary stat cards that come with the AW minis. Likely much cheaper than buying multiple duplicate AW minis. Aftermarket AW bases being readily available in a variety of fun colors. This is confusing. |
