Sculpted by Alan Marsh who does the Eureka's FRW range and also did their Saxon Napoleonic heavy cavalry.

I love Alan's style, very Perry compatible.

Exciting to know Westfalia are doing Peninsula Badeners and using Alan to do the sculpting as it is guaranteed to be a good product. I wonder if they will continue with Paul Hicks for the future Saxons they plan? It would be good to see continuity as they are quite different styles??

Now if only Alan Perry would re-visit the Peninsula with some Spanish and Portuguese!

Thanks for posting Tango!

Is it? Could it be a Saxon officer for 1809? Where did you get the information Armand?

Okay, I see it now. It's a Badener.

Yes, Alan M. Is doing these for us. I was planning a Talavera game for ages and I needed some good quality troops to represent the Badeners. I'll do them with their 4Pdr guns and 6Pdr Howitzers obviously.

And yes – our Saxon range is alive and kicking. We're about to add the Light infantry and the Guard Grenadiers to them.

Thanks Armand for bringing that up.

OK I rather deserved such sausage silliness! Now sush lest any more of this comes out, the Wurstphalians get indignant and threaten a sausage strike, and someone reaches for another horror pun…

Cool, how about some Wurttermbergers?!

KaweWeissiZadeh23 Feb 2015 12:24 a.m. PST

Wurstphalians… I actually really like sausages! And yes – especially with some nice pickled cabbage.

I doubt we'll do Wurttembergers since Frontrank was releasing some of a rather good quality not to long ago.

Markconz23 Feb 2015 5:31 p.m. PST

Front Rank is too fat. :(

KaweWeissiZadeh23 Feb 2015 9:37 p.m. PST

Are they? I was under the impression that their recent releases didn't suffer from that issue.

I agree with Markconz, certainly with a large part of FR Wurttemburgers, which are otherwise nicely done. Until there is a Wurrtemberg reinforcement pack their comparison with others is pretty unflattering IMO.

Bandolier23 Feb 2015 9:56 p.m. PST

The Front Rank Wurttembergers are excellent and are done in the new, better proportioned style that matches the reinforcement packs. I am not a fan of their older style either but don't let old prejudices turn you off.

Always wanted a brigade of Badeners so looking forward to these.
